There is something quite charming in using the google translator on your haiku (I am sadly unable to read Japanese). The translations are beautiful in their fragmentation - they don't quite read properly but the way that this comes across almost leaves space to fill in the blanks and imagine the way the haiku really reads. It's really quite interesting and some of these translations sound beautiful in this rugged way, for example Haiku 47 "The day of silence and the morning snow white chrysanthemum" and Haiku 41 "How often dream of the new year to wake up white chrysanthemum笑いけり". It's very interesting, and I imagine from what I read that I would think your Haiku very good if I could read japanese

"She stood there, half way between the orient and here. Bitter white clouds lingered and then went, capturing the splash of yellow that the sun bathed our faces in."
all my comments are due to ~moyanII's translations, as is the deviant-watch, since i do not understand japanese. my apologies for the rather indirect interaction.
